What format are the photos in?
All FotoAgent photos are in JPG format, RGB color, embedded sRGB color profile.
How large are the actual image files?
All JPG format files are at least 7.1 mega pixels and are a minimum of 3072 x 2305 pixels. All are perfect for printing or incorporating into multimedia projects
Are all photographs digital quality? How high is the quality of the file?
All photographs offered for sale on the site are in digital quality, taken with professional digital cameras. Some photographs are high resolution laser scans corrected with proper color profile attached. We use high quality professional equipment to take our photos. Each photo has been subjected to a prudent and thorough editing process in PhotoShop which enables the best possible output. We guarantee that the quality will satisfy even the most discerning editors.
What level of compression are the JPG files?
We try to always use the “Maximum Quality” setting in PhotoShop (12/12 or 11/12). However, with some of the highest resolution photos, we sometimes need to use a 10/12 setting to keep the files’ size under 5MB.
Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes. We add photos as they are taken or scanned. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.
Can I submit photos to sell?
Yes. Sign up and register as a Photographer at "Photographer Login" to start uploading your files.
Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned. On a rare occasion we will make exceptions on a case by case basis.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the FotoAgent photos that I download?
Yes. While FotoAgent offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format.
If I purchase a subscription are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site?
No, an unlimited membership allows you full access to download any photos on our site at no extra charge.
Can I license one or more of the images?

Can I order a print of one of the images?
Yes, you can order any image on this site and we will send you a print in the selected size. It will be printed with archival ink on high quality photographic archival paper using a commercial quality photographic printer. The print is guaranteed to last 100 years!
Can I order a framed print?
Not at this time. All images are shipped unframed.
How do I pay for the photographs?
We accept Paypal. With rampant fraud and counterfeiting, no checks, money orders or wire transfers are accepted.
How do I receive my purchased images?
Print(s) will be mailed to the mailing address you provide. Please be sure to indicate your mailing address when you pay for your images.
For license purchases, you will receive an email with a username and password and a link to download your photograph(s) from a secure directory.
Is account sharing allowed?
No, sharing an account is no different than distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues.
I bought a subscription, but it says I'm not activated. What do I do?
On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have made a purchase of our yearly subscription and you are not able to access photos FotoAgent using your details, send a support request.
We won’t sell or give your information to anyone, ever. Since your payment is through Paypal, FotoAgent will never see your credit card or bank number. With Paypal you know your transaction is secure and private. If we send you an email and you wish to be removed from our distribution list, just notify us by replying to the email with the words “Remove My Name” in the subject line.
